Description

A creamy and flavorful slow cooker soup made with chicken, cream cheese, and ranch seasoning, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the chicken.
  3. Add the chicken broth and cream cheese to the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir in the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry at the end of cooking.
  • This soup can be served with crusty bread or over rice.
