Quick and easy air fryer shrimp recipe that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect as an appetizer or main dish.
Ingredients
1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until all shrimp are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
Air fry the shrimp at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
Check that the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately.
