A quick and flavorful beef stir fry with crisp vegetables and a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cups broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup snap peas
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return beef to the pan. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch mixture.
Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce thickens and coats everything.
Drizzle sesame oil, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
