Chicken Meatloaf: Garlic Parmesan Flavor

Description

A delicious and moist chicken meatloaf infused with garlic and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting dinner.


Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground chicken
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 cup marinara sauce


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fresh breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped onion, and chopped fresh parsley.
In a separate small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
Pour the egg and milk mixture into the large bowl with the chicken mixture.
Add salt, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes to the bowl.
Using your hands or a spoon, mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a rimmed baking sheet.
Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
