Baked White Fish

Description

A simple and delicious baked white fish recipe seasoned with lemon, garlic, and herbs, perfect for a healthy and quick dinner.


Ingredients

4 white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia), about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Fresh lemon wedges, for serving


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Place the white fish fillets in the baking dish in a single layer.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil with the minced garlic, dried parsley, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Brush the garlic and herb oil mixture evenly over the fish fillets.
Place lemon slices on top of each fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
