A quick and flavorful recipe for juicy jerk chicken breasts cooked to perfection in the air fryer. This spicy Caribbean-inspired dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep.
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine the jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, and salt to create a marinade.
Rub the marinade evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the chicken breasts for 9 minutes.
Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional 9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
