Description

These classic peanut butter cookies are soft, chewy, and packed with rich peanut butter flavor. Perfect for any peanut butter lover, they are easy to make and deliciously satisfying.

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg, baking soda, vanilla extract, and salt to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll into balls. Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Flatten each dough ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
