A simple and delicious banana bread recipe perfectly suited for baking in a bread machine. This moist and flavorful banana bread is easy to prepare and makes a great breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
2 large eggs
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix well.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and granulated sugar.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
Pour the batter into the bread machine pan.
Place the bread machine pan into the bread machine and select the ‘Quick Bread’ or ‘Cake’ setting, depending on your machine model.
Start the machine and bake for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once baking is complete, remove the bread pan from the machine and let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
Remove the banana bread from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
