Description
A quick and creamy one pot parmesan pasta recipe that combines pasta, garlic, and parmesan cheese for a delicious and easy meal with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
12 ounces dried spaghetti
4 cups water
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
In a large pot or deep skillet, combine the dried spaghetti, water, chicken broth, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and stir in the unsalted butter until melted and combined.
Add the freshly grated parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the pasta and stir gently to combine.
Serve immediately while hot.
