Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
Season the chicken breasts evenly on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the chicken breasts for 2 minutes on each side until lightly browned.
Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the crock pot.
Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken breasts from the crock pot and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
