Description
A quick and easy one pot pasta recipe with ground beef cooked in the Cookeo pressure cooker. Perfect for a hearty weeknight meal with minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
300 grams ground beef (viande hachée)
250 grams dried pasta (penne or fusilli)
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
400 grams canned diced tomatoes
500 milliliters beef broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
50 grams grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Set the Cookeo to ‘Brown’ mode and heat the olive oil.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the Cookeo and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Add the ground beef to the Cookeo and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5 minutes.
Season the beef with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil. Stir to combine.
Add the dried pasta, canned diced tomatoes (with their juice), and beef broth to the Cookeo. Stir to mix all ingredients evenly.
Close the Cookeo lid and set it to ‘Pressure Cook’ mode for 8 minutes.
Once cooking is complete, carefully release the pressure according to the Cookeo instructions.
Open the lid and stir the pasta. If the sauce is too liquid, set to ‘Brown’ mode and cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring to thicken.
Turn off the Cookeo and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
