Chicken Breast Patties

Description

Delicious and juicy chicken breast patties made with ground chicken, seasoned with herbs and spices, perfect for sandwiches or as a main dish.


Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken breast
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 large egg
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken breast, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, fresh parsley, salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried thyme.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly until well combined but do not overmix to keep patties tender.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty about 3/4 inch thick.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Place the chicken patties in the skillet and cook for 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the patties are golden brown.
Remove patties from the skillet and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
