  • Yield: 4 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 1.5 pounds)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken thigh.
Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 5 minutes.
Brush the chicken thighs with olive oil on both sides.
Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 10 minutes at 380°F (193°C).
While the chicken cooks, in a small bowl whisk together honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar to make the glaze.
After 10 minutes, flip the chicken thighs skin-side up and brush half of the honey glaze over the skin.
Cook for an additional 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
During the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining honey glaze over the chicken thighs.
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
