Description

A quick and delicious air fryer salmon recipe featuring a sweet and savory honey soy glaze that caramelizes perfectly in the air fryer for a tender, flavorful meal.


Ingredients

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon olive oil


Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper until well combined to make the glaze.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the glaze over them, turning to coat evenly. Let marinate for 5 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
Air fry the salmon for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, brush the remaining glaze over the salmon fillets.
Air fry for an additional 2 minutes to caramelize the glaze and finish cooking the salmon.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
