  • Total Time: 18 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

This Air Fryer Honey Garlic Shrimp recipe is a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender shrimp coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Perfect for a fast weeknight dinner or a tasty appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoons chopped green onions

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
While the shrimp cooks, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a small saucepan, combine minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
Heat the sauce over medium heat until it begins to simmer, about 2 minutes.
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the sauce and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Transfer the cooked shrimp to a large bowl. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and toss gently to coat evenly.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the shrimp before serving.
