Juicy and flavorful air fryer chicken breasts marinated in a zesty lemon garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.
Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to create the marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal or cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook the chicken breasts for 9 minutes, then flip them over and cook for an additional 9 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 3 minutes before slicing and serving.
