Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the softened butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. In another bowl, mix cranberries, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
  6. Spread the cranberry mixture over the crust in the pan.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of the cranberries.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
