Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, and sesame oil. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
- These meatballs can be served as an appetizer or over rice as a main dish.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
