Slow Cooker Beef Finger Ribs

  • Total Time: 6 hours 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

Tender and flavorful slow cooker beef finger ribs cooked low and slow in a rich, savory sauce. Perfectly fall-off-the-bone ribs that require minimal effort and deliver maximum taste.

Ingredients

Scale

2 pounds beef finger ribs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

Season the beef finger ribs evenly with salt and black pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beef finger ribs to the skillet and brown on all sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer the browned ribs to the slow cooker.
Add the sliced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Stir in the beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, brown sugar, smoked paprika, and chili powder.
Bring the sauce to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 6 hours until the ribs are tender and falling off the bone.
Remove the ribs from the slow cooker and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve the ribs with the sauce spooned over the top.
