Description

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions, carrots, and garlic until softened.
  3. Add the ground meat and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and peas. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
