Description

Pan-seared salmon fillet with a crispy exterior and tender flaky interior, drizzled with a creamy spicy bang bang sauce and garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.


Ingredients

salmon fillet (6 oz)
mayonnaise (3 tbsp)
sriracha sauce (1 tbsp)
honey (1 tsp)
rice vinegar (1 tsp)
garlic powder (1/4 tsp)
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
vegetable oil (1 tbsp)
green onions (chopped, 1 tbsp)
sesame seeds (1 tsp)


Instructions

Pat salmon fillet dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
Place salmon fillet skin-side down in the hot pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the exterior is crispy.
Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the interior is tender and flaky.
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, honey, and rice vinegar until well combined to create the creamy spicy bang bang sauce.
Plate the salmon fillet centered on a white round plate.
Drizzle the creamy spicy bang bang sauce evenly over the top of the salmon.
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately.
