Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl

Description

Pan-seared salmon fillet glazed with a sweet honey sauce, served atop jasmine rice with steamed broccoli, sliced avocado, sesame seeds, and green onions.


Ingredients

Salmon fillet (6 oz)
Honey (2 tbsp)
Soy sauce (1 tbsp)
Garlic (1 clove, minced)
Cooked jasmine rice (1 cup)
Steamed broccoli florets (1/2 cup)
Sliced avocado (1/4 cup)
Sesame seeds (1 tsp)
Chopped green onions (1 tbsp)


Instructions

In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to make the honey glaze.
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Flip the salmon and brush the honey glaze over the top. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting with the glaze, until salmon is cooked through and glaze is sticky.
Place cooked jasmine rice in a bowl. Arrange steamed broccoli florets on one side.
Place the glazed salmon fillet on top of the rice.
Fan sliced avocado beside the broccoli.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the salmon and scatter chopped green onions on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy.
