Description
Enjoy perfectly crispy chicken wings seasoned with a flavorful blend of Italian herbs, cooked quickly and easily in the air fryer for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.
Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley, dried thyme, crushed dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to create the Italian seasoning mixture.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss thoroughly to coat each wing evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Cook the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 12 minutes. Then, flip the wings over and cook for an additional 12-13 minutes until the wings are crispy and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the wings from the air fryer and let them rest for 3 minutes before serving.
