Beef Cabbage Bowls

Description

Tender sautéed ground beef with slightly crisp green cabbage, flavored with soy sauce and garlic, served in individual cabbage leaf bowls and garnished with green onions and red pepper flakes.


Ingredients

1 lb Ground beef
1 small Green cabbage, leaves separated
3 Garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Sesame oil
3 Green onions, sliced
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes


Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add ground beef and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
Add soy sauce and stir to combine, cooking for another 2 minutes.
In a separate pan, lightly sauté green cabbage leaves for 2-3 minutes until slightly crisp but tender.
To serve, fill each cabbage leaf with a portion of the beef mixture.
Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
