A delicious and easy-to-make overnight breakfast casserole that you can prepare the night before and bake in the morning.
Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread, cubed
- 1 cup of shredded cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- 1 cup of cooked sausage or bacon, crumbled
Instructions
- In a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the cubed bread and sprinkle the cheese on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread and cheese.
- Sprinkle the cooked sausage or bacon on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the casserole for 45-50 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated for a quick breakfast.
