This recipe delivers perfectly juicy and tender boneless chicken breasts cooked quickly in the air fryer. Seasoned simply with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, it’s a healthy and easy meal option.
Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of each chicken breast with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix together kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
Cook the chicken breasts for 7 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
Flip the chicken breasts over and cook for an additional 7 to 8 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
