- 1 package puff pastry (2 sheets)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the sausage, mixing well.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut them into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on one end of each rectangle, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- For a spicier version, use hot Italian sausage.
- These rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
