- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3 cups sliced apples
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cranberries and sliced apples.
- Add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the melted butter into the oat mixture and stir until crumbly.
- Spread the cranberry-apple mixture in a baking dish and top with the oat crumble.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
- Adjust the sugar based on the tartness of the cranberries and sweetness of the apples.
