Description
A warm grilled sandwich featuring sliced turkey breast, sharp cheddar, and fresh guacamole on whole wheat bread.
Ingredients
4 slices sliced whole wheat bread
6 slices sliced turkey breast
4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup fresh guacamole (avocado, lime juice, salt, diced tomato, diced onion, cilantro)
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Butter one side of each bread slice.
Place two bread slices butter-side-down on the skillet.
Layer each with sharp cheddar cheese, sliced turkey breast, and fresh guacamole.
Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side-up.
Grill until bread is golden brown and crispy and cheese is melted, about 4 minutes per side.
Remove from skillet and cut each sandwich diagonally into two halves.
Serve stacked slightly offset on a white rectangular plate with a small ramekin of extra guacamole on the side.
