Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and drizzle with vegetable oil. Toss to coat all wings evenly with the seasoning mixture.
Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the wings until solid, about 2 hours.
Once frozen, transfer the wings to a freezer-safe airtight container or resealable plastic freezer bag. Label with the date and store in the freezer for up to 3 months.
When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the frozen wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out evenly.
Bake the wings for 25 to 30 minutes, turning halfway through, until crispy and cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
