- 1 loaf of bread (preferably round or oval)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cut the loaf of bread into a football shape and make deep cuts in a crisscross pattern without cutting all the way through.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the bread, making sure to get it into the cuts.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese into the cuts of the bread.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
