A delicious and fun cheese ball shaped like a football, perfect for game-day snacking.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, green onions, pecans, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Shape the mixture into a football shape and wrap it in plastic wrap.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  5. Once firm, remove from the refrigerator and place on a serving platter.
  6. Decorate the cheese ball with sliced olives to resemble laces on a football.
  7. Serve with crackers or vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add some diced jalapeños to the mixture.
