A simple and delicious way to make flatbread pizza on the grill, perfect for summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- Flatbread – 2 pieces
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce – 1/2 cup
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1 cup
- Fresh basil – a handful
- Salt and pepper – to taste
- Optional toppings (pepperoni, vegetables) – as desired
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- Brush one side of the flatbread with olive oil.
- Place the oiled side down on the grill.
- Spread tomato sauce on the top side of the flatbread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add any optional toppings.
- Close the grill lid and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh basil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Slice and serve hot.
