Description

Delicious and nutritious dark chocolate sea salt protein balls that are perfect for a guilt-free indulgence.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder if using.
  2. Add the dark chocolate chips and sea salt, mixing until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute almond butter for peanut butter if desired.
  • These protein balls can be frozen for longer storage.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
