Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pie crust, pre-baked

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add the chopped pecans and dark chocolate chips to the mixture and stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the filling is set and the top is slightly puffed.
