Ingredients
4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 1.5 pounds)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
Rub olive oil evenly over the chicken thighs.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken thighs, pressing lightly to adhere.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
Cook for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken thighs skin-side up.
Continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
Remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
