  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

Tender turkey meatballs smothered in a rich, homemade gravy. A comforting and easy dinner option.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground turkey
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until gravy thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Return meatballs to the skillet and simmer in gravy for 10 minutes, until cooked through.
