A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring lean ground turkey, fresh vegetables, and a homemade teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 cups broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup snap peas
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas; cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and ginger.
Pour sauce over turkey and vegetables; stir to combine.
Add cornstarch slurry and cook until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
Serve hot over rice or noodles, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
