Description
A quick and comforting stir-fry featuring ground pork, shredded cabbage, and carrots in a savory soy sauce and sesame oil glaze. Soft cooked vegetables and tender pork come together in a rustic bowl, topped with fresh green onions and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes.
Ingredients
1 lb ground pork
3 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 green onions, sliced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground pork and cook, breaking it apart with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pork; stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry with the pork until the vegetables are soft but still tender, about 5-6 minutes.
Pour in soy sauce and drizzle sesame oil over the mixture. Stir well to combine all flavors evenly.
Sprinkle red pepper flakes and sliced green onions on top, reserving some green onions for garnish.
Serve the stir-fry in a shallow bowl, garnished with the remaining green onions.
