  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

A simple and delicious recipe for pan-seared chicken breast tenderloins, seasoned with garlic and herbs, perfect for a quick and healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound chicken breast tenderloins
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Pat the chicken breast tenderloins dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried Italian seasoning.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken tenderloins.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the chicken tenderloins to the skillet in a single layer without overcrowding.
Cook the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on one side without moving, until golden brown.
Flip the tenderloins and add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
Continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes, spooning the melted butter and garlic over the chicken as it cooks, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let rest for 3 minutes.
Sprinkle the chopped fresh parsley over the chicken before serving.
