Description

A delicious and hearty cheeseburger soup that combines all the flavors of a classic cheeseburger in a warm and comforting bowl.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the milk, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

  • For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry.
