- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, potatoes, carrots, and celery. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Stir in the milk, cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until the cheese is melted and the soup is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker soup, you can add a cornstarch slurry.
- Feel free to add your favorite burger toppings like pickles or bacon bits.
