Description

A delicious and easy recipe for Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast topped with melted Mozzarella Cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the balsamic mixture over them.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove from the oven.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and return to the oven.
  6. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the balsamic mixture for a few hours before baking.
  • Serve with a side of vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
