Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup diced apples
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, protein powder, and cinnamon.
  2. Add diced apples and walnuts (if using) to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  3. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the protein bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
