  • Total Time: 22 minutes
  • Yield: 2 1x

Description

A quick and delicious air fryer salmon recipe glazed with a sweet and savory honey soy sauce, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

2 salmon fillets, skin on, about 6 ounces each
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 green onion, thinly sliced (for garnish)
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined to make the honey soy sauce.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with black pepper.
Brush both sides of the salmon fillets lightly with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching.
Air fry the salmon at 400°F (200°C) for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, carefully brush the salmon fillets generously with the honey soy sauce mixture.
Continue air frying for an additional 4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove the salmon from the air fryer and spoon any remaining honey soy sauce from the bowl over the fillets.
Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
