Description
A quick and easy recipe to prepare Trader Joe’s salmon fillets in the air fryer, resulting in perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful salmon with a crispy exterior.
Ingredients
2 Trader Joe’s fresh salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each), skin on
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 lemon, cut into wedges
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Brush both sides of each salmon fillet with olive oil.
In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer using a spatula.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the salmon.
