Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 6 ounces each
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
Brush both sides of the chicken breasts evenly with the lemon marinade.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Cook the chicken breasts in the air fryer for 9 minutes.
Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
