- 10 small corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cheese, and taco seasoning.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a microwave for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
- Place a small amount of the chicken mixture on each tortilla and roll them tightly.
- Spray the taquitos lightly with cooking spray.
- Arrange the taquitos in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with black beans or refried beans.
- Make sure not to overfill the tortillas to prevent them from bursting while cooking.
- Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for added flavor.
